The attack on the Twin Towers affected us all in different ways. I wasn't there, but you didn't have to be to understand how traumatic and devastating that event was. I was asked by a large Montana printing company to create an image for their annual calendar. I agreed of course! The project rumbled up from me a mix of sorrow, confusion, uncertainty, and anger. What better way to release all these things than to do what I do best and manifest a vision of hope. So putting together this image together took some work. Piecing together the right profile of eagle and using an actual model of a flag adhered to foil to "shape" a flag being pulled from the water was a challenge. It all came together and shortly after and the client loved it! Following its completion, I was asked to donate a framed print to the Red Cross event that took place in DC. That was super cool!
