This watercolor depicts a pathway to the unknown, from a dark space to a place of comfort. Often times we get consumed by the unknown or uncomfortable dark places we've been and forget about where we are going. This image was painted in the late '90s and is a homage to my friend a mentor who lost his life to cancer at the young age of 50.
