This orchid was a commission job for a client. I wanted to accentuate the focus of the flower and felt overdoing the background would to just that. This is one of Montana's unique and genuine wildflowers. In a way, it is almost abstract in comparison to the common flower. It's dark and intriguing and in the right space, it is beautiful!
