Lake Snoozin Moose
Nothing says relaxation like a nice bath and sunset. Somewhere hidden away in Yellowstone Park, Glacier Park, or maybe Canada this is taking place. Moose is one of the more intriguing and mysterious creatures of the north. With their unique paddle-shaped horns and giant stature, they appear to be a humble and, surly creature. However, I have seen Moose travel across vast wooded areas in the blink of an eye. You would not want to get in the way of this animal you would be flattened like a paper cup.
This painting was originally done in watercolor and was the combination of two photos. A black-and-white photo album or magazine found in my father’s dusty novice photography room. And the concept of the background was probably taken from another most likely a Montana magazine long before Amazon sold moose plushies.
