Pieces like this have been a concept that has been rolling around in my head for quite a long time. I'm looking to execute more of these in the future as they are relative to any queen or king that admires a fellow angler. Particularly the whole woman holding trout with contrasting nail polish, something about it speaks a little "tribal". I mean If I were a fish, I would want to be caught by a woman who would be proud to hold me.
Painted in watercolors, there are a lot of pearls and reflective pigments in the original. Having used resin to coat the piece in its finality, that medium really builds on the magnitude of depth and colors radiating. The original can be found here!
