Fishing in the winter in Montana is uncommon and not for the weak. With dedication, one can bode some fantastic fishing. The Big Horn River reaches south crossed Montana’s border into Wyoming. It is a wide lazy but robust body of water. I have fly finished the Big Horn several times with my brothers. I've done this a couple of times in the winter. This image is a reflection of those times. It is a very unique yet hauntingly desolate territory in appearance in the Montana territory but full of small creatures and fauna. As it winds into Wyoming it carves through land and becomes a haven for bighorn sheep along the cliffs of canyons.
