I've always been infatuated with the turkey. He is kinda the odd bird out when it comes to beauty. But if you look hard enough at those things in life you can see the unique and genuinely cool traits. I threw a lot of design at this painting, breaking up the detail wasn't hard as I kept the darks one tone and let the face of the feathers' breath the organic behavior of the paint. I like how these birds just own their space, they give you that mobster feel. Like they are saying, "Don't even think about messing with me. You don't know what your getting into, and I have friends."
